Technocad announce the release of their V2018 products

24th August, 2017. Today, Technocad announced the release of their V2018 Civil Infrastructure software in 64-bit format, for the Civil Engineering design community. The products are compatible with Autodesk AutoCAD® 2018, AutoCAD Map 3D® 2018 and AutoCAD Civil 3D® 2018, or other AutoCAD® V2018 derivative products. The products that are available now are SurfMate V2018, RoadMate V2018, PipeMate-3D V2018, WaterMate V2018, RebarMate V2018 and DatumMate V2018.

Customers that have current Technocad software maintenance and technical support agreements on their licensed software are eligible for free of charge upgrades to V2018.

The software is available in both Standalone licensing (SLM) and Network Licensing (NLM) formats, with the NLM format becoming the preferred licensing mechanism. In addition, should the software be rquired for short periods of time, then Technocad offer a Rental option.

Technocad Training Course Schedule for 2017

The Technocad Training Course Schedule for 2017 has now been released. Technocad offers a broad range of courses covering a wide range of civil engineering fields, including Digital Terrain Modelling in 3D, Road Design, Gravity pipe reticulation design and analysis for Sewer and Stormwater, Water reticulation analysis (covering both static analysis and extended period simulation) and reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling.

Technocad also offer training in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software. The Essentials course will give you a thorough introduction to this complex software.

All courses are led by a professional registered civil engineer. Therefore, not only do you receive instruction in the use of the software, but you will gain valuable knowledge of how to apply the software to assist with your civil engineering design tasks.

These courses are invaluable to the civil engineer and civil engineering technician / technologist.

SurfMate Advanced Digital Terrain Modelling Training Course

The next SurfMate Advanced Digital Terrain Modelling training course will be held on 07-July-2016, at the Technocad training centre. Learn techniques to handle large data sets, engage advanced configuration settings, employ surface editing techniques, use the polyline modeller function and advanced techniques, use of 3D-splines in civil engineering survey plans, flow arrows to assist with drainage design, Earthworks design (includes platform design and cut/fill optimisation), height/volume calculations, design of dams and ponds, Volumetric analysis, stockpile volume calculations etc. Click here for further information.
